Welcome to my game notes. For the most part(particularly on offense), these are possession-by-possession notes of all the things that happened on the court. It’s a way for me to learn as much as possible about what happened during the game because I would otherwise forget. Anything can be a note, no matter how small or complicated.
These are my personal notes. This is not meant to read as analysis or a piece. Some of the sentences may not have structure or perfect grammar. They are notes. My goal for this is to somewhat track the things that happen to know what to dig deeper into and have some kind of reference to it somewhere.
Clips will be accompanied for key plays I want to highlight.
1st Quarter
12:00 — Starting off the game with Davion bringing the ball. Bam at the left elbow. Klay in the strong corner. Giannis coming off Wiggins pindown.
Giannis-Bam PNR. Kuminga looks to go under. Rudy is already in the paint too. Giannis has all the space to go for a pull up 2pt in the midrange.
Klay is also looking to be in the paint. Maybe he’s looking to screen.
Nice first possession to kick it off with a Giannis pull up.
11:32 — Off a steal. Bam passes to Davion. Davion sprints to the paint and passes to Giannis cutting in transition for FTA
Giannis is damn fast. At that point when he got the ball, there’s literally nothing stopping him from getting to the rim or fouled
11:18 — Off a make. Davion brings ball. Looks to quickly attack the right side before the defense is set. There’s no one in the corner. Everyone is on the other side, with Giannis trailing. He drove towards the baseline and finds the kick to Giannis trailing. Poor pass placement, though.
It flows into Giannis getting the ball in the paint and tries to post up Kuminga. Ant showing very strong help off Davion in the strong corner. Rudy is also sitting under the rim off of Bam in the dunker. Jaden is helping off Wiggins to be close to Bam incase Rudy helps.
Giannis makes the kick to Davion, which could’ve been done quicker and earlier. Ant short close out and recovers. Davion looks to dribble and attack Ant. Gets a step on him for a floater in the paint. I feel like he ended his dribble too soon but that also was from Kuminga digging off Giannis.
10:53 — Off a miss. They are running again. Klay rebounds and passes ahead to Davion. He’s already near the 3pt line. Bam is leaking out and is behind the defense. That should have been a finish but it was a poor lob pass from Davion
10:22 — Off a make. Giannis brings the ball. Giannis-Bam high PNR. Klay in the strong corner. Wiggins in the opposite one. Davion 1 pass away with Ant sitting at the FT line early
Rudy switches on Giannis. Kuminga on Bam. Giannis looks to go to the elbow. Sees help from all sides. Klay in the strong corner taking Ball away. Bam one pass away and Kuminga doesn’t care. Jaden low man off Wiggins in the dunker. Davion in the weakside corner
Giannis just dancing on Rudy and goes ISO. Gets the contact for foul.
9:56 — Off a make. Giannis brings ball. Giannis-Bam high PNR. Rudy dropping and switching. Kuminga is glued to Bam. Giannis has the runway to the rim.
He’s also attacking the side with only Klay in the strong corner. Both Davion and Wiggins are stashed away in the far corner. That’s why there was no help and paint was open
That’s 3 PNRs involving Giannis and Bam already. All good results
9:36 — Off a make. Davion brings ball and is pushing. Swings to Bam trailing. Giannis 45 cuts. He’s also matched with Ant.
Bam looked to flow into a handoff with Wiggins. No advantage there and picked up dribble. Swings back to Davion and another quick swing to Klay in the corner for C&S 3pt. Ball was a bit out of position
Klay did make that, but that was early in the shot clock. Giannis was also cutting and had the clear mismatch and space to have the cut to the rim from Klay
9:11 — Off a miss. Giannis brings ball. Kuminga picks him up early. Jaden isn’t paying attention to Wiggins trailing. Rudy is sagging off Bam on the wing. Wall is formed on Giannis.
It’s a quick swing to Bam for an early open C&S 3pt. Rudy was daring that shot
This is a good shot in general, but coming from a shooter. But at the same time, those are shots that Bam has to learn to make
8:54 — Off a make. Davion is still looking to push pace. He tries to get a drive quickly in the paint but doesn’t have anything going. Still continues to dribble the entire possession. Picks up the dribble and swings to Wiggins relocating for a C&S 3pt
Wiggins makes that vs Ant but it’s a semi contested shot with 14s left on the clock
I like that Davion is pushing but if nothing is there, then get into something else quicker
8:32 — Davion looked to push but quickly resets and passes to Giannis next to him. No idea why Giannis just took this shot. It’s a pull up 3pt vs Rudy with 17s on the clock. Why?
8:08 — Davion brings the ball. It’s a play for Klay. Klay comes off a stagger from Bam-Giannis. Ball is trailing and he gets a quick C&S 3pt
Simple but effective design for Klay if that is his matchup
7:41 — Off a steal. Davion quickly passes ahead to Wiggins leaking out. He gets a drive to the rim in transition but it’s a poor drive vs Kuminga.
A bunch of tip ins from Wiggins, Giannis and Bam. Bam gets the loose ball but ends up throwing a wild shot on the putback. He should’ve just reset
7:21 — Davion brings the ball. It’s another play for Klay. This time, it’s coming off a pindown from Bam. Ball played better defense here. No advantage
Klay looks to feed Giannis in the post. He’s getting fronted by Kuminga. That’s a good feed but help comes immediately from Rudy, who is ignoring Bam in the corner. Rudy was already near the paint in the first place. Klay could’ve done the skip pass instead
BLOB(Davion). Klay off Wiggins-Bam screen to the corner for a quick corner C&S 3pt
6:55 — Giannis brings the ball. Klay is coming off a pindown from Bam. Gets the pass and attacks baseline. Rudy is in drop. Davion is in the far corner but Jaden doesn’t care and is already in the paint. Wiggins is in the dunker
Bam gets the pass from Klay on the break. He doesn’t look to take the 3pt shot, even though he has all the space. He tries to attack Rudy off the catch but it was a short closeout from Rudy and was able to recover. Giannis is also one pass away and that means Kuminga is able to dig
Bam very quickly just picks up the dribble and can’t make the kick to Davion because of Jaden’s deflection. It’s a TOV
6:20 — Davion-Klay-Wiggins-Bobby-Bam. Davion brings the ball. Looks like he wanted to flow into a PNR with Bam but no contact and no advantage. He swings it back to Bam. He goes towards the other side. Wiggins 45 cuts. Klay lifts and cuts. Gets the pass from Bam and tries to pass to Wiggins but it’s another bad pass TOV
Not sure why both Wiggins and Klay cut at the same time. That’s just poor execution. I do like the quick swing after no initial advantage
5:50 — Off a make. Davion again pushes pace and has an ISO drive to the rim in early offense before the defense is set
5:25 — More quick offense. Davion passes ahead to Klay. That flows into a drag screen PNR with Bam. He rejects the screen looking for a PU 3pt but good recovery from Ball
Reset and it flows into another Klay-Bam empty PNR. Same reject. He drives baseline. Rudy is on his drive. Bobby is cutting at the same time as the drive bringing Kuminga to help
Klay makes the kick to Wiggins for a corner C&S 3pt
4:40 — Davion-THJ-Wiggins-Bobby-Bam. Off a miss. THJ gets the rebound and quickly makes the outlet pass to Wiggins leaking out. He gets fouled on the catch
SLOB(Wiggins). Davion hub. Bam looks to set a pindown for THJ. Instead THJ, cuts and sets a pin in screen for Bam. He ends up getting a C&S 3pt
I like using THJ as the screener
4:20 — Wiggins just dribbling for no reason. That kills a few seconds before he finally feeds Bam in the post. Side is cleared. Bam doesn’t waste any time. He quickly attacks baseline to get to the rim for a good finish
This is also without Rudy or Kuminga or Jaden. No rim protection
I also like the idea of Davion cutting inside and making sure that if help was going to come, it’d be from Ayo
3:45 — Off a make, Davion trying to push pace again. He has a good burst on Ayo and draws a foul
Pelle-THJ-Niko-Bobby-Bam
SLOB(Niko). Bam setting a screen for THJ before getting the pass.
Bam-THJ PNR. Defense doesn’t want to switch and Bam gets 2 on the ball. That opens up THJ on the pop for C&S 3pt
Another instance with THJ as the screener getting good results
3:07 — Off a make. Always trying to push as fast as they can. Pelle hits Bobby with the outlet pass
Bobby gets to the post vs Ayo. The benefits of cross match early. But he travels. TOV
2:50 — Pelle-THJ-Niko-Bobby-Giannis. Giannis brings the ball. Quickly flowing into Giannis-THJ empty PNR. He slips to the corner. Giannis puts 2 on the ball and just swings to Bobby 1 pass away. The possession ends with an iso post up from Bobby and settling for a fade. Giannis is also 1 pass away so his defender was digging, even as he cuts. Giannis did get himself in position for a ORB and putback
I don’t know how they managed to have an advantage but then it resulted in an ISO from Bobby. Giannis had to find THJ in the corner
2:16 — Off a miss. Giannis is pushing pace. He quickly drives but picks up the dribble way too early. It was enough to get the low man in the paint but it was a poor pass and it got deflected. Pelle was in the right spot to get the tip and immediately kicked it to Niko in the corner for a C&S 3pt
1:56 — Almost the exact play. Off a miss. Giannis with his head down, pushes pace and quickly drives. He gets to the paint but it’s an offensive foul
Giannis has to slow down. The defense collapsed and there was a kick to Niko or Bobby in the corner
1:40 — Pelle brings the ball vs Ball. Giannis gets the ball at the elbow but gets pushed towards the break more. He doesn’t hesitate one bit and attacks as soon as he gets the ball. He gets to the rim with ease before defense able to load up
I like this. If you’re going to feed Giannis, be sure to attack before the defense is able to get in position to form walls
Though, this is without either Rudy or Jaden
1:15 — Niko brings the ball quickly. Pushing pace. He swings it to Giannis trailing. He’s already attacking off the catch. Gets deep to the paint instantly. Defense collapses. Bobby also rim runs, which takes Ball inside too. That leaves Pelle wide open on the kick, forces rotations and now Niko can attack off the catch vs the closeout
Great quick offense again attacking the defense before it’s set
One of my fave plays from Niko because of the drive and finish
0:55 — Off a steal. Getting out in transition. Passes ahead. Then Pelle finds Giannis cutting to the rim. At that point, he’s already inside the arc and you just can’t stop him
They were absolutely feasting inside without Rudy or Jaden
0:31 — Off a miss. Pelle is again looking to push pace. He finds Giannis leaking out and gets it to him cutting to the rim in transition
2nd Quarter
11:36 — Pelle brings ball vs Ayo slight pressure. Bobby looking to set a pindown for Giannis. At the same time, THJ is setting a cross screen for Bobby. Defense didn’t want to switch that. Bobby is now getting fronted by Kuminga. Tried twice before Niko feeding him. Bobby finds Giannis cutting, that draws the defense inside and it opens a kick to THJ for C&S 3pt
Pelle was in the corner on the post up. Ayo didn’t care and provided help as the low man. Pelle made a good decision to cut, which forced Rudy to sink and that is what let Giannis get downhill freely.
11:06 — Off a miss. Pushing in transition. THJ passes ahead to Giannis for a very easy drive and dunk
10:27 — Off a miss. Pelle tried to get out in transition. He has a drive and gets to the rim and draws a PF
SLOB(Pelle). Giannis hub. Doesn’t waste any time and attacks Rudy off the catch to the rim for a foul.
That has been so easy for Giannis to get by Rudy
Niko is also setting a pindown for THJ. That occupies Jaden, so there’s no extra help on Giannis. This felt like a good decoy action
10:06 — Bobby tried to push pace but defense reset. Giannis gets the pass trailing. He sees Rudy being in the paint and quickly whips a pass to Niko in the corner for a long C&S 2pt(foot on the line)
9:44 — Giannis brings the ball. Giannis-THJ PNR. He pops for a quick C&S 3pt. One quick action
9:22 — Pelle brings the ball. Defense isn’t set. Niko does a good job running the floor and gets behind the defense and cuts to the rim for a layup
This was off a make but it such easy offense that didn’t really need them to get out in transition either
8:52 — Giannis brings the ball. He just goes ISO vs Rudy in the middle of the floor. Quick few moves and he gets to the rim
Everyone else were was just standing still and watching him but there was a lot of space. Pelle in the dunker and Bobby stashed in the strong corner
8:18 — Trying to push pace again off a make. THJ looks to attack off the catch vs a not set defense and draws a PF
SLOB(Niko). Bobby coming off a screen(pindown) from Giannis. Doesn’t waste time and quickly attacks off the dribble to the paint for a floater. Does a good spin move for a cleaner look. It looked like he also tried to fake a DHO with THJ
Another instance with Pelle in the dunker. Giannis up top taking away Rudy
7:45 — Pelle brings the ball. Quick swing to Giannis on the side. Niko cuts through to clear the side. Giannis gets to the post. He draws Jaden to double immediately off of Pelle 1 pass away. Quick kick to Pelle and he drives and kicks to THJ in the corner for a C&S 3pt
There was a miscomm on defense that helped
7:12 — Davion-Niko-Giannis-Bobby-Bam. Davion brings the ball. Quickly feeds Giannis in the post with the side cleared. He’s getting fronted by Kuminga. Rudy helps immediately off of Bam in the dunker. Giannis gets to the paint with ease and makes the kick to Bobby in the corner. He draws a hard closeout, a fly by. Side steps into a 3pt
All 5 defenders had their feet in the paint. Everyone was just standing and watching
6:42 Davion-Giannis empty PNR, defense switches. Giannis has Ant now. Ball swings to Bam and he finds Giannis cutting to the rim.
Good way to exploit the mismatch. Bam had Rudy on him so that took away the help
6:00 — Davion-Wiggins-Niko-Bobby-Bam. Quickly pushing pace with a couple of passes ahead. Ball finds Bam in the corner. He attacks Rudy off the catch, gets to the paint and quickly goes for a fade
I like the push but not sure if I like the shot, especially given Bam’s general tendencies. This was also with 18s on the clock
5:34 — Pushing pace again. Davion goes as fast as he can, attacking the side. He collapses the defense before it can get set and kicks it back to Bobby trailing for a C&S 3pt
All that speed caused much confusion with the defense
5:05 — Davion is pushing pace again, even off a make. He’s going 100 right away. Gets a drive to the rim but loses the ball and it’s TOV
4:42 — Davion-Bam empty PNR, defense goes under. Then re-screen, Ant goes over. Just a slight drive and quick pocket pass to Bam for a PU 2pt
Niko also relocated from the dunker to the strong corner.
I feel like Bam can easily roll harder here, especially given the big defender and Ayo being the low man
Also, this is just one quick action with only two players involved
4:09 — Quickly looking to feed Wiggins in the post vs Ayo. As the pass comes, the defense is already coming from behind off of Niko in the corner. He cuts, which draws the defense but everyone able to recover. Wiggins just holds it and goes for a quick long mid
3:43 — Off a steal. Bobby passes ahead to Wiggins leaking out in transition to the rim
3:23 — Davion-Klay-Wiggins-Niko-Bam. Davion brings the ball. Slower pace. Not sure what the plan is here because Bam was flashing up to set a screen. But Davion had an opening and got a drive vs Ant. He draws a PF
SLOB(Niko). Same set up. Davion with the ball. Bam flashes to set a screen. Klay sets a backscreen for Bam — Davion-Bam-Klay Spain PNR. Defense goes under. Bam rolls hard. Davion makes a bad pass to Niko for a TOV
2:51 — Off a miss. Bam pushing pace. This ended up getting Niko a cross match vs Ayo. He looks to seal him inside. Gets fronted. Bam quickly feeds him. Kuminga helps on the catch. Niko forces up a shot with 2 defenders on him for a bad shot
2:16 — Davion brings ball. There is miscomm on defense who’s picking him up. Bam is trailing. That allows him to attack off the catch on the swing. Quick move, beat the defender well and blew right by him to the rim
That’s how Bam needs to attack poor defenders
1:55 — Davion-Pelle-Wiggins-Giannis-Bam. Off a make. Pushing pace with a pass ahead. Wiggins quickly gets the ball on the go. Has the drive but went into traffic and lost the handle for a TOV
1:37 — Off a miss. Giannis brings the ball. He has the matchup vs Ball but gets poked loose and it’s another TOV
1:16 — Bam with a sloppy careless pass for a TOV
That’s three straight possessions.
1:07 — Davion brings ball slowly. Flows into Davion-Giannis PNR, defense goes under. Ant doesn’t care at all. Davion doesn’t hesitate for the PU 3pt
Ant is daring him to shoot
0:50 — A bit sloppy getting the ball over the halfcourt. Pelle gets it on the side. He quickly sees Rudy helping in the paint, waits until both feet are inside for a skip to Davion in the corner. It’s a short closeout from Rudy. Davion doesn’t take the shot. He attacks his inside foot well and drives baseline. That draws the defense and finds Giannis on the dumpoff. Giannis ends up with a hook over two defenders
The defense here is just not respecting anyone. Ant is on Bam at the top of the key but he sinks entirely to contest Davion. That leaves Jaden being able to stay on Giannis more
0:21 — Off a make. Giannis pushes pace. He just quickly attacks. Instantly gets a drive to the paint vs Jaden. He draws the whole defense for a kick to Davion for a C&S 3pt
I don’t know if this was just cross matched but Rudy has been on Davion
Bam also rim runs and that allows Ant to provide help inside. Ayo was stunting off Wiggins in the strong corner. That formed a wall
3rd Quarter
11:35 — Davion-Klay-Wiggins-Giannis-Bam. Giannis brings ball. He just quickly looked to backdown Kuminga. Gets to the middle of the paint. Settles quickly for a post fade
Not sure why that was the shot this early in the clock to start the 2nd half. Everyone else just watched. Jaden also ignoring Klay in the corner to provide strong help. That should’ve been a kick
11:00 — Bam is pushing pace. He has all the space vs Rudy to pull up for 3pt but doesn’t take it but still picks up the dribble. Swings to Klay who chucks up a 3pt early in the clock that’s semi contested
Another shot I don’t get why was taken
10:30 — Quickly flowing into Davion-Bam empty PNR. Bam set the pick inside the arc and that forced Ant to go over. Davion has the drive and gets to the side for a good finish over Rudy
Quick, early action.
10:11 — Giannis-Bam high PNR. Rudy is in a deep drop. Giannis just goes downhill and attacks him at the rim. Tries to dunk but missed
Ant also showing strong help off Wiggins 1 pass away at the nail
9:45 — Bam brings ball but just gives it off to Giannis. That’s already 8s off the clock. It flows into a 3 man action with Giannis-Bam-Klay. Klay half assed a screen for Bam to get into the post. Klay feeds Bam. Giannis cross screen for Klay. Kuminga was ready to help on Klay, so Giannis had a wide open slip and cut to the rim, he gets the pass from Bam
Ant is on Davion but he doesn’t care about him on the break so is early to help in the paint but it doesn’t matter vs Giannis
8:58 — Same play but getting into it faster. Giannis brings the ball. No screening involved from Klay. It just flows into Bam getting it in the post. Klay comes off a screen from Giannis but no advantage. He cuts through and flows into a handoff from Bam into a PU 3pt
Not really an organised offense. Klay also had to tell Wiggins where to move before. Also, no screens beforehand just made things more difficult
8:30 — Off a miss. Giannis brings ball and pushes pace. Gets out in transition and has a drive to the rim for the and one
8:15 — Davion-Pelle-Wiggins-Giannis-Bam. Off a steal. Bam just gets a drive to the rim and draws a foul
8:00 — Bam brings the ball and looks to push pace. He has Rudy dropping low in the paint. That should be attacking him. Instead, he slows down and passes it to Wiggins 1 pass away in the strong corner
Essentially flows into Wiggins-Bam PNR. Wiggins goes middle for a PU 2pt over Rudy contesting
7:23 — Davion brings ball. Pelle comes off Giannis pindown. Gets the pass and looks to attack but his drive is easily stopped. Swings it back to Davion
He swings it to Wiggins in the corner. He doesn’t take the 3pt and doesn’t make a snappy decision. He also doesn’t have much space to attack in the first place because Giannis is in the strong dunker. It kind of resets with Giannis getting out of the way for a Wiggins ISO. He gets to the paint for a floater
This is just poor offense from start to finish
6:52 — Davion tries to push pace with a pass ahead to Giannis vs a mismatch with Ball but poor pass ends in a TOV
6:21 — Davion brings ball. Couple of swings. Giannis looks to set a screen for Davion. As that happens, Pelle attacks Jaden off the dribble and gets middle. He draws a PF
SLOB(Bam). Giannis hub up top. Just holds it and attacks middle. Looked to back down Kuminga in the middle. He makes a kick to Davion as help comes. He swings it to Bam. Draws a closeout from Rudy but there’s no advantage and everything stops. There is a PF away from the ball
Giannis was also drawing digs from both sides. Davion and Wiggins had their man not care. That was a wall being formed.
Also, why is Bam attacking Rudy in that direction? He should’ve gone baseline
SLOB(Davion). Giannis hub again. He backs down Kuminga at the elbow. Draws the def. Kicks to Bam 1 pass away. He swings to Wiggins for a semi contested C&S 3pt in the corner
This isn’t a good possession
They switched it up with Bam being 1 pass away. Ant switches on Bam and doubles Giannis.
5:35 — Davion-Pelle-Wiggins-Bobby-Bam. Slow getting into anything. Davion brings ball and it swings to Pelle. He’s directing traffic to go ISO vs Kuminga. He does get a drive to the rim but doesn’t really draw any defenders. He makes a kick to Bam for a corner C&S 3pt
Both corner 3s but they are not good looks created by good offense
Also, Davion cut at the same time as the drive. That brought Ant near the paint
5:12 — Davion brings ball. He’s just dribbling and goes ISO. Gets a drive to the rim but smokes a layup
No help showing or anything, so he did have space. He did get a step but that has to be a make
Pelle in the dunker spot. Keep making a note of that
4:54 — Davion brings ball. A couple of swings. Ball gets deflected
SLOB(Wiggins). Tried to feed Bam in the post but couldn’t. Gives it to Davion to feed Bam after he cuts through. Taking too long to make one single pass.
Bam with a quick move off the catch in the post near the 3pt line. He gets a good drive to the rim for a dunk
Can’t be having Bam receive the ball that far out
Bobby in the far corner and his help hesitates to fully commit
4:22 — Davion brings ball. Swings it to Bam 1 pass away. He tries to attack off the catch and drive middle but help is there off Davion. His defender goes flying and goes for a stepback 3pt
3:58 — Davion brings ball and quickly looks to attack but doesn’t get far or turn the corner. Defense recovers. He kicks it to Bam. He doesn’t have a shot and attacks off the catch and goes middle, but same as last time, there’s help and his drive goes nowhere. He dribbles out and resets
He goes ISO and drives. He gets to the paint and poor kick out to Pelle in the strong corner for a C&S 3pt
The pass has to better
These two possessions show how being able to put the ball down and drive on closeouts is so important
3:36 — Davion-THJ-Pelle-Bobby-Bam. Pelle quickly feeding Bam in the post. Again, he doesn’t waste any time and attacks right away. This time it’s a good move going baseline and spins back to the paint for a hook and one
Side was cleared. He had all the space
Gets an ORB off a FT miss.
BLOB(Davion). Nothing open. Gets it to Bam up top. Pelle-Bam PNR, over, drop, switch. Pelle ends up getting Rudy. Bam has a smaller guy. Bam also doesn’t roll at all here, which I feel like he should’ve but he popped instead. He looked then to get post position. Pelle swings it to Bobby lifting for a quick C&S 3pt
Not sure about that 3pt shot but it was 5s on the clock then.
This possession went badly with Bam popping rather than rolling
2:53 — Pelle brings ball. Swings to Bam trailing. He has Rudy giving him the space. Bobby with the perfect rim run to get cross matched with Ball. That draws extra defense inside with them trying to kick the mismatch. As Jaden comes to help, Bam skips to THJ for a C&S 3pt
That was a good quick read from Bam
2:37 — Pelle-THJ-Niko-Bobby-Giannis. A couple of passes ahead to push pace. Gets to Niko in the post quickly vs cross match with Ball. A great read from Giannis to burst inside and cut strongly. Niko also makes a great read on the pass right where he needs it. He gets fouled at the rim
2:12 — Off a make, trying to push pace. Giannis looks to get a drive inside but 3 defenders collapse on him. He kicks it to Bobby trailing. Swing to Pelle. He has the shot but doesn’t take it as Rudy looks to closeout(that was a perfect short closeout).
He tries to attack off the catch and drive but Rudy plays good defense. He goes middle and Giannis’ man is in the way helping inside. He makes a good pass to Niko cutting. But then Niko just throws it away on the kick
Pelle needs to take that 3pt. But also Giannis just gets in the way again

Bobby has Rudy on him and he relocated to the other corner and that allowed Rudy to contest. Giannis then has to make that kick

11:55 — Pelle brings ball and swings to Niko hub. Side was cleared after THJ cut from the corner. Not sure what the plan is here. Bobby goes to screen THJ. Niko swings to Giannis lifting, and he also sets a pin in for THJ. He pops for a C&S 3pt
This seems like it was a play design for THJ but it just looked so out of sync
11:20 — Bobby delay. Giannis looks to pindown for Niko but I can’t call that a screen. Niko gets it and looks to feed Giannis in the post. Gets fronted. It’s a bad pass and a TOV
I like that Bobby was up top but it doesn’t matter if Rudy will still leave him to help. Niko had to be patient and look at Bobby instead
10:48 — Davion-THJ-Niko-Bobby-Giannis. Davion brings ball. Bobby delay again. Niko relocates from the corner this time. Giannis tries to get free and draws a PF

9:17 — Off a miss. Giannis grabs the board and just goes coast to coast in transition. This is just so easy. He pushes pace and there’s nothing that can stop him. He gets to the rim for a foul

8:58 — Davion brings ball. He just dribbles and tries to go ISO. He gets a drive but it’s an offensive foul TOV
8:32 — Giannis brings ball vs Jaden pressure. Clock is running down. Calls for a Giannis-Bobby PNR, under and drop. Bobby pops but doesn’t take the shot as Rudy recovers. He hands it off to Davion in the corner
It’s a late clock Davion ISO. He does manage to get a drive to the paint. Help is early in the paint. Ant is at the rim off of Niko. Davion makes a poor kick out pass and Niko had to chuck up a C&S 3pt
All of this started badly with Giannis taking it slow
Davion also had no idea that Bobby was wide open in the corner because Rudy helped off the strong corner
7:51 — Off a make. Giannis is pushing pace fast. He gets a drive middle. Defense as usual collapses and forms a wall. Kicks it to Niko trailing for a quick C&S 3pt — it’s an airball

7:30 — Davion-Pelle-Wiggins-Giannis-Bam. Off a steal. Giannis just bulldozes to the rim in transition vs Ayo recovering. Outside of a charge, there’s nothing he can do. He gets the layup and one
7:16 — Off a miss. Giannis again trying to push pace. He gets a drive but a flagrant offensive foul TOV
7:04 — Davion-Klay-Pelle-Wiggins-Bam. Davion brings ball. Help was shown at the elbow early. He swings to Wiggins. He’s able to attack off the catch vs Ayo recovering badly. He gets a drive to the paint and goes for a floater over Rudy(he helped off Bam early)
Wiggins does make it but that’s another instance where the shot is more difficult than the potential read that opened up. There’s also Ant off of Pelle in the paint because he tried to set a screen for Bam
6:36 — Pelle brings ball. He immediately looks to attack ISO. Gets a drive vs Ayo but he’s driving into traffic. Ant is already there waiting for him at the rim and gets blocked.
They have to slow down and be able to make the open read. Wiggins was wide open in the corner
6:22 — Sloppy pass from Klay to Bam in the backcourt TOV
5:42 — Davion brings ball. He just attacks Ant in ISO. Great cross and burst to turn the corner. He gets to the paint and then has the layup

4:25 — Davion brings ball. Flows into Davion-Bam PNR. At the same time, Klay backscreens THJ. Then Bam pindowns for Klay. That flows into Klay-Bam PNR, over and drop. That’s a wide open 3pt for Klay
3:55 — Off a make. Davion just sprints and quickly attacks to the rim for the and one
3:34 — Ball swinging from one side to another. Bam 45 cuts. Davion swings to Wiggins. He attacks off the catch. Draws help from Rudy off the strong side corner. Kicks to Bam for the C&S 3pt
